Digested

Many people have written with suggestions of what they would like to see in the weekly Digest. Some have been implemented, others are on the way.

• Michael Pyne requested a mailing list where the issues would be announced. Not done yet.
• Waldo Bastian asked that a link to http://cvsfilter.kde.org/ be on display permanently. Done but ugly
• Melchior Franz suggested linking to http://cia.navi.cx/stats/ whenever a user id is displayed. Not done.
• Carsten Niehaus suggested substituting keywords with links throughout the digest. Only implemented in the summary.
• Richard Bos suggested using accesskeys for navigation. He said he may switch to the new layout with this. Partially done. In Konqueror press ctrl, release, then press 'n'.
• Daniel Engelschalt asked that the 'next' link be on the right side. Not done yet.
• Stefan Gehn asked for a static link to the latest issue. Done. http://cvs-digest.org/index.php?issue=latest&all will give all in one page.

I added google search which allows searching all the archives and diffs. Search engine crawlers total about 15% of the traffic, so we might as well use it.

I plan to move to the new layout in 4 to 6 weeks, so any complaints, improvements and flames are welcome.
